Drapers Hall

After more than 30 years shut, this impressive Regency hall in the heart of historic Coventry is being repurposed and reinvigorated as an intimate venue for music and music education.

Overview

The Grade II* Listed Drapers’ Hall is truly exceptional. Not only is it a remarkable survivor of both the war time bombing and post war redevelopment, but also due to diligent maintenance, it remains intact and almost unaltered from its Victorian heyday – a time capsule to the past.

Drapers’ Hall will open in Coventry’s year of culture as a centre for music and music education. Three stunning spaces – the Ballroom, Tea Room and Card Room will play host to a rich programme of live music from across the globe, as well as unique events befitting of the venue and its locality in the centre of Coventry. Once open, Drapers’ Hall will be the home of Coventry Music Service, who will work with Historic Coventry Trust to establish this new music venue as a jewel at the heart of Coventry.

The Hall’s grand and historic spaces are also available for hire.

We cannot wait to welcome you inside.
