Jamie Magraw was born in Coventry and grew up in Finham.
He has held Finance Director roles with Perkins Diesel, Guinness, Laing O’Rourke and United Utilities. He was FD of the Football Association at the time of the building of the new Wembley and FD of the London Olympics. He has worked extensively overseas. Post the 2012 Olympic Games he has started a number of new businesses in the renewables and food sectors.
Throughout my time abroad I was always asked about my home town. I realised then how unique it was, how much it had offered the World and how underplayed we Coventrians are in talking about it. My aim whilst at the Trust is to tell the story of the past by protecting and using the City’s buildings but also improve the City for the future. We have always been a City of rebirth.
He lives in Kenilworth with his wife and three sons.
